Welcome to EastZoo’s first Beat Competition!

This is the first of many contests we have comin’ your way.  Over here at EastZoo we have an extra  “Dr. Rhythm Dr-770″ layin around, so we figured some lucky Producer/Beat Maker would appreciate it.  Even if you don’t win, this is still a chance for some FREE exposure!  All beats will be displayed on the site for our fans to listen to and vote on. Only ONE beat is allowed per person, and must be submitted no later than March 1st, 2010. You must email your beat in MP3 format to ezdoesit@eastzoo.com . You must read the Beat Contest Rules and the Disclaimer before submitting your beat.

Update: The Contest is World Wide, not limited to the USA

Contest Rules

Each entry must:

  • Use one of the samples provided below
  • Be UNDER 2 minutes
  • Be in MP3 format
  • Include your name
  • Include your contact info (Email, Phone)

Each entry CAN contain:

  • Outside Drums
  • Outside Bass
  • Skits
  • Intro’s

Each entry CANNOT:

  • Contain outside samples
  • Be submitted after March 1st, 2010

Voting

All entries that abide by the rules will be featured on our blog. We will then have the public vote on their favorite beats. There will be a two week voting period. You are allowed to vote on your own beat, and you are allowed to vote once a day. The top three beats chosen by the voters will then be entered into the final round. The final round is decided by EastZoo staff. We will review, analyze, and determine which beat is the winner of the first EZ Flip Beat Contest. We will then notify the winner by Email and/or Phone and they will receive the grand prize.
